The Pacific Northwest Budo Association is a federal 501c3 non-profit educational organization, tax id#06-1695055. Download our IRS Determination Letter here. We are wholly dependent for our funding on membership dues and donations. In keeping with our social mission to support the accessibility of martial arts and traditional cultural arts, our annual dues are kept as low as possible.
PNBA program and financial affairs are directed and managed by a Board of Directors subject to advice from the membership. Board members serve two-year terms from January to December of the following year. Elections are held and officer appointments made in December prior to the beginning of the new term in a public meeting. Voting in elections is limited to the adult membership. Directors are selected from member organizations to represent both the goals of the PNBA and the interests of their arts and organizations.
